Swedish Relaxation Massage  Is a relaxing full body massage that incorporates traditional long strokes, kneading, rolling, vibrational and percussive techniques with the application of oil to reduce skin friction.  Swedish massage improves skin and muscle tone, soothes tired muscles, breaks down scar tissue and increases circulation, which may reduce swelling from injuries and speed healing.

Deep Tissue Massage  uses slow deep strokes and deep finger pressure and is applied to the body on the areas that are the most restricted.  The muscles generally feel contracted and stiff.  Deep tissue massage is effective at breaking up adhesion's, increasing the muscles range of motion and releasing the spasms.  It is also the key to reaching the deepest portions of muscles, specifically the individual muscle fibers. We utilize deep muscle compression and friction along the grain of the muscle to purposely unstick the fibers of the muscles and release both the waste products and the deeply held patterns of tension.  Massage therapists will use their fingers, thumbs or occasionally even elbows to apply the needed pressure.

Neuromuscular Massage  is a form of deep tissue massage that is applied to each individual muscle. It is a great technique used to increase blood flow, reduce pain and release pressure on nerves. It is used to locate and release spasms, eliminate trigger points that cause referred pain, restore postural alignment and rebuild the strength of injured tissues. Relieving the trigger point in your back, for example, could help ease pain in your shoulder or reduce headaches. This approach brings about balance in the body’s central nervous system with the musculoskeletal system.  The goal is to relieve pain and dysfunction by understanding and alleviating the underlying cause.  It also helps in the release of endorphins, the body's own natural pain killers.
